Costen-Turner Park Costen-Turner Park is a tribute to Lt. Tom Costen and Lt. Charlie Turner of VA-155, whose A-6 Intruder was tragically shot down over Iraq on the first night of Desert Storm. Dedicated in 1995, this park honors their sacrifice and provides a welcoming space for relaxation, recreation, and community gatherings. The park offers a variety of amenities, including picnic areas, a children's play area, a gazebo, BBQ facilities, a quarter-mile track, and a softball field. The park can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 1,000 people, making it an ideal location for command functions, family gatherings, and community events.
